‘If people want to study with me, they can just check out my website and see what I offer’
Oh I’ve heard it so many times from teachers that I work with! Teachers assume that if they exist (eg have a website and a social media profile) that’s enough to attract paying clients to their business. But then they don’t see any results. They just sit and wait and think: ‘But all the information is out there!’
Well, I could say that that’s literally the definition of what marketing IS NOT.
Marketing is the art of creating tension, provoking, and making people think! And it needs to be proactive.
