As freelancers in the language industry, we’re spoiled for choice with CPD talks, conferences and workshops. But business? Not so much.
The freelance world exists almost entirely online. And while virtual communities are nice, nothing beats meeting in real life.
So if you want to network with other freelancers in a space made for freelancers, then join us in Brighton for a night of conversation, connection and fun.

We’re tired of sitting on the fringes of industry events. So we decided to join forces and run our own.
Our goal is to create the much-needed space for freelance language professionals to meet, connect, collaborate and claim their space in the market.
Because we know from our own businesses that in-person events are where the magic happens.
It starts in Brighton. But who knows where it will end...

Do I have to arrive at 5:30 pm?
We have the space from 5:30-9 pm. You’re welcome to come and go any time between then.
I’m not sure… can I buy a ticket later?
We’re strictly limited to 50 spaces. 16 tickets have already gone, and the rest will go on a first come first served basis. FYI: We’re expecting the event to sell out quickly.
Is this an online event?
No. This is an in-person networking event taking place in Brighton.
How far is this from the IATEFL conference?
The event is taking place at the Café at Yellowave - about a 10-minute drive or 25-minute walk from Brighton i360.
