So you’ve decided to niche down, yay! You have your specialty, you can charge more and work with your specific people helping them improve. Seems like a dream, right?
But then doubt cripples in and you may say to yourself:
‘What if someone outside of this group wants to work with me?’ I have to help them!’
‘What if they want something I don’t offer anymore but want to pay me?!’
‘I still have my old General English students who have been paying the same rate for years – I can’t change that now!’
‘But if someone wants to pay me, I can’t say no to money!’
